This just in from the folks at Penland, with more details about the auction to benefit the photography program at the Penland School of Crafts. The auction is March 2nd, with absentee bidding availalbe on 35 photographs by distinguished Southern photographers.

The live auction at Cassilhaus Gallery on March 2
is almost full, but there is space for an unlimited number of absentee
bidders. You can give us your maximum bid for any of the 35 photographs
you are interested in. Our staff will place bids for you (up to your
maximum) during the live auction.
